The most impressed me of Austria is their traffic lights

1. St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom) 圣斯蒂芬大教堂

Address: Stephansplatz 1, 1010 Wien
Opening times: Daily, 6am-10pm; Sun, 7am-10pm
Admission: Free/ €5.5
Nearest metro: Stephansplatz (U1, U3)

The biggest and greatest cathedral in the town
Its rooftop shows golden when the sunset
It is located at the end of the high street so it is very easy to find and identified
if you dont, just follow the crowd
the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna and the seat of the Archbishop of Vienna
The most important religious building in Vienna, St. Stephen's Cathedral has borne witness to many important events in Habsburg and Austrian history and has, with its multi-coloured tile roof, become one of the city's most recognizable symbols

2. The Hofburg (Imperial Palace) 霍夫堡宫
Address: Michaelerkuppel, 1010 Wien
Attraction: Sisi Museum, Silver collection
Opening times: Daily, 0900-1730
Admission: Need to buy Ticket entrance to Museum/ Garden is Free 

Today serves as the official residence and workplace of the President of Austria. It is located in the center of Vienna and was built in the 13th century and expanded several times afterwards. It also served as the imperial winter residence, as Schönbrunn Palace was the summer residence.



3. Hundertwasserhaus (百水公寓)

Address: Kegelgasse 36-38, 1030 Wien
Admission: Not allowed to enter
Information: Expressionist Architecture
transport: Tram line 1 station Hetzgasse is only approx. 100 m away, metro U4station Landstraße Wien Mitte is approx. 900 m away

There are many shops that looks very artist and beautiful
we also tried ice cream, I like the pistachio ice cream the most and you can also try the alcoholic chocolate drinks with only 20ml and 17% of alc
an apartment house in Vienna, Austria, built after the idea and concept of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser with architect Joseph Krawina as a co-author.

4. Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens 美泉宫 (UNESCO)
Address: Schonbrunner schlosstrabe 47, 1130
Opening times: Daily, 0830-1730
Admission: Ticket £17 pounds for adult
It was served as imperial summer residence, and it became the glittering focus of court life. It also listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site,an institution founded in 1972. Inclusion in this list confirms the importance of the palace and its gardens as a unique Baroque ensemble.

5. Vienna City Hall (Rathaus) 市政厅


Opening times: Mon-Fri, 0800-1800

seat of local government of Vienna, located on Rathausplatz in the Innere Stadt district.
and there have Ice skating rink in front of the city hall (Wiener Eistraum Skate rink)





6. Kunsthistorisches Museum 艺术史博物馆

Salzburg 萨尔茨堡

The place where Mozart born
Thing to note: All attractions are near and in the center of Salzburg city

1. Fortress Hohensalzburg Castle 城堡

Transport: Bus 5 to Rathaus Stop
History: Main landmark of Salzburg, with 900 years historical background. The biggest medieval castle in the middle of Europe.

2. Dom Zu Salzburg (Monument)

History: The second biggest church/ Monument in Salzburg, is the place where Mozart baptized
Address: Kapitelplatz 2, 5010
Opening time: Mon-Sat, 0800-1700
Ticket: Free, Donation expected
Trasnport: Bus 5 to Rathaus Stop













3. Hellbrunn Palace 海尔布伦宫

Hallstatt 哈尔施塔特

Transportation to Hallstatt are the most tricky one for me because I was not understand until I was there.

You need to take bus 150 from Salzburg main station to Bad Ichn and then take train to Hallstatt train station
Once you reach Hallstatt train station, there will have a boat service, the only public boat service go into Hallstatt, That is €3 one way. If you travel with luggage there will be another charge for it.
This is also the way back to Salzburg

Thing to note: Most attractions in Hallstatt do not open in the winter

This is a Family trip during 2019 Chinese New year
