Travel ♥ Walk Around London

Friday, July 19, 2019

London is the city I like the most. It is a very busy, and highly developed city.
Comparing to Canterbury where I have been living in 3 years for studies, London is more convenient.
Though, all cities in the UK have their own unique characteristic, giving people a mystery and attractive feeling.

WALK AROUND LONDON

Transportation

In Europe
Travelling by train is the most expensive choice
Flight is the middle
and apparently bus is the cheapest way to travel
But, it varies on different situation and depends on what kind of trip you want

By train:
You can take train from Paris/ Brussels to London
These are the most popular, convenient cities and near to London
Normally the train ticket is from 30 pounds one way
I suggested to compare with flight ticket because the total journey time would probably the same
Train from/to London/ Paris is approximately 3 hours and from/to London and Brussels is approximately 2 and half hours
To buy all train ticket in the UK you can go to Thetrainline

By bus:
The thing you need to know if you travel by bus is you can only travel on a specific time
Even though some discount/ promotion train ticket also only allowed you travelling on certain train and time
But bus is always fixed
You can sometimes ask driver if you can take the bus earlier than the bus time you purchased but no later than the time
The driver can also reject you request (to take earlier bus) if he/she thinks the bus is full
There are several bus companies in the UK
These three bus companies are the most common and budgeted

By flight:
This is the most easy and fastest way to travel to London from other country
From Malaysia, for example, it is usually RM2200 to RM3000+ for round trip or higher price form premium flight
Direct flight takes 13+ hours to London and 11+ hours from London to Malaysia

1.       Transport交通

a.       Underground maps

b.       Oyster card

2.       Attractions
c.        Natural history Musuem
London bridge is falling down 原来只是一座普通的桥。
i.         Other: Cambridge, Canterbury, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Oxford, Bath

3.       Weather

4.       Expenses
